Like the March for Science in Washington D.C., and satellite marches all over the United States and beyond, the March for Science – Princeton “is a celebration of our passion for science and a call to support and safeguard the scientific community.” Threats to science–to its funding, to its legitimacy, or to the information it produces–strike at the core of Princeton’s identity and economy. We are home to two world class research institutions, as well as the laboratories of many pharmaceutical, healthcare, food and education companies. While Hollywood counts success in Oscars, Princeton counts them in Nobel Prizes. Einstein lived among us.

On Earth Day, April 22, we will gather in Hinds Community Plaza for a fun, family-friendly, non-partisan rally, followed by a short march through town. Science is for everyone, and so is this march! #princetonrunsonscience
