Be the change. Create racial justice in our community!

Join us in Trenton on Sunday, October 1, to discuss how to take action to promote racial justice throughout New Jersey and the nation. We will gather in solidarity with our brothers and sisters of color, the Muslim and Jewish communities, the LGBTQ+ community, the immigrant community, and every person targeted by those who would divide us.

The Day of Service, Learning & Unity is a multi-community event supporting the goals of the March for Racial Justice in D.C. Advocates for justice, equality, and peace will speak and facilitate workshops and discussion groups to delve more deeply into the systematic and institutionalized injustices faced by people of color in the U.S.

Learn what you can do to promote racial justice in your community.
Topics will include:
-Mass incarceration
-Racism in the U.S. from a faith community perspective
-The history of white supremacy in America
-Intersectional LGBTQ+ issues
-How to talk to your legislators
-Being undocumented in America

Service is critical to building community. We will be collecting items for local service organizations. If you represent a local service group interested in having a presence at the event, please contact us.

Hope Rises Up is proud to host the #M4RJ Day of Service, Learning & Unity. We will make this day a reality with the strong support of the Central Jersey Coalition for Justice, whose members represent local grassroots and faith-based groups dedicated to promoting racial justice.
