Federal regulators have begun the process to approve the NESE compressor station & Raritan Bay gas pipeline proposal by the end of this year, but New Jersey Governor Murphy and the Department of Environmental Protection can still stop the dangerous project by rejecting it crucial permits.

This event is part of the “Tour For a Fossil Fuel Moratorium”, a series of 6 public forums beginning February 18th and running through early April. We’ll hear from experts and community leaders on the front lines of the fights to stop the 12 new fossil fuel projects currently proposed throughout our state, how these developments would harm our water, air, land, and climate, and articulate the scientific, economic and moral case for an immediate moratorium on fossil fuel development.
