The Special Parent Advocacy Group (SPAG) is calling all parents and community members. There have been five documented incidents of abuse and neglect on school buses in the City of Trenton against special needs children. Two sexual assaults and 3 physical assaults. There are also countless cases of neglect as the district has failed to provide the therapies and other related services that our children are entitled to. After the first assault, the district continued to transport our children unsafely. We have also asked for resolution and were ignored but the abuse has happened again and again. There are countless IAIU investigations against the district involving special needs children. These investigations end with no result. We must stop this abuse and neglect and band together. Our board members need to hear from parents!!!!! Parents have power, we tell the district what we want and they have to listen. Parents, use your power! Bring your children so they can look into their eyes.
