Dr. Ruha Benjamin is an Associate Professor of African American Studies at Princeton University. Her work investigates the social dimensions of science, technology, race, and medicine, with a focus on the tension between innovation, inequity, and social justice. ​Dr. Patricia Fernandez-Kelly is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Sociology at Princeton University and as a Research Associate in the Office of Population Research.
