“School systems and local government are built on a solid foundation of interested and dedicated residents who choose to run for School Board and local government.

This workshop will guide you through the steps needed for placement on the ballot as a candidate for school board member or local office. Topics to be covered include the qualifications required to run for office, how and where to file a petition, filing a campaign finance report, poll challengers, filing deadlines and resources available for candidates.
