Hopewell Valley Democratic Club will host a presentation and Q&A about gun violence prevention with Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, a grassroots organization dedicated to preventing gun injuries and deaths through education, advocacy, and promotion of common-sense gun laws. The presentation will include a brief history of the organization, their relationship with guns in America, the connection between gun violence and intimate partner violence, the major goals of Moms Demand Action, how they work to reach their goals, and how to get involved in the movement.
