Author of the new book “Homeward: Life in the Year after Prison,” Bruce Western is Professor of Sociology and Co-Director of the Columbia University Justice Lab. He will be joined in conversation with Matthew Desmond, Professor of Sociology at Princeton University, MacArthur “Genius” Fellow, and author of the Pulitzer Prize-winning book “Evicted: Poverty and Profit in the American City.” A book sale and signing of “Homeward” will follow the discussion.
