Equal Pay and Economic Justice in NJ, with State Sen. Shirley Turner
February 26, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
donationAnother informative program is scheduled focusing on “Equal Pay” in NJ. Our State Senator Shirley Turner will highlight how government can promote economic justice.
As opinionated women who desire our values to be represented in society we need to run for office or support a woman who is running. Senator Shirley Turner was elected as a Mercer County Freeholder in 1983, then elected as our State Senator in 1998 till the present. During those two decades in office she has added her own cracks in the glass ceiling, paving the way for the next generation of women politicians. We all will learn from her personal story.
Time will be left at the end of the evening to discuss NEXT STEPS.
The Sunday, February 26 program will begin at 6pm promptly at the West Windsor Arts Center at 952 Alexander Road, West Windsor . There is always parking at the Wallace Road lot at the WW train Station.
Expand our initial group by bringing a friend. Also feel free to invite your family, this program is being presented to inform both men and women.
The March program will focus on potential Muslim registry, immigration policies, and refugee issues. (Date to be announced)
April 23 (the day after Earth Day) the program will focus on the proposed gas pipeline through mercer county and other environmental issues in NJ
Please RSVP to so we have a general head count.
