Anti-Racism Workshop by Meta Theater Company
November 9, 2017 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
On Thursday, November 9th we will present an interactive workshop on racism with practical ways we can fight against it in everyday life.
The Meta Theatre Company cast will be back to moderate a follow-up discussion; after this will be a primer on what implicit bias is and how it manifests (led by Catherine Riihimaki of IGSV), personal stories of racial discrimination in Hunterdon County (moderated by Roia Rafieyan of PHD and the HCARC), and a small-group discussion around more concrete actions people can take as individuals and in groups (moderated by Alexa Offenhauer from the HCARC).
Please invite friends, family, and members of your community to these important events!
Sponsored by Progressive Hunterdon Democrats (PHD), Indivisible Garden State Values (IGSV), and the Hunterdon County Anti-Racism Coalition (HCARC).
