2020- NJ State Budget Hearings

Join us to have your voice heard at this year’s state budget hearings!! 1st hearing TUES MARCH 10th!!

Please join the For The Many coalition at this month’s public hearings to call for a state budget that invests in our communities by ensuring the ultra-wealthy and big corporations pay their fair share in taxes.

Your presence will help send a message to the Legislature that they are being watched by working families and residents across the state, and that we won’t let them put the millionaires and powerful corporate interests before us — the many.

The first budget hearing is next week — Tuesday, March 10th at NJIT in Newark — and we want to have a huge turnout in support of real tax fairness! We will be meeting one hour before the hearing to rally, hold signs, and hand out flyers. Please WEAR GREEN to show solidarity with the coalition. We will be doing this at all four public hearings. Dates are below.

If you can testify, that’s even better — we have template language you can use to draft your testimony.

Here are the details of the upcoming budget hearings:
  • Meeting outside the Annex
  • Hearing location: Committee Rm 11, 4th Floor
